HON. JOSE I. TEJADA
Board Member Jose I. Tejada, dubbed as the Centennial Vice-Governor of the Province. Ping-ping as his friends and family fondly call him was a former paralegal officer at the Department of Agrarian Reform before seeking public office. Born to Enriqueto Fernandez Tejada and Fabiana Yerro-Inserto, a former trial court judge. Ping-ping finished a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at the University of Santo Tomas and Bachelor of Laws at San Sebastian College. He first worked as accounting assistant at Banco Filipino at the same time taking up his law degree.
He first sought public office in 1992 as Provincial Board Member, by virtue of succession he became the Vice-Governor of the Province in summer of 1998. Presently he is the SP Committee Chairman on Infrastructure, Public Works and Energy; Vice-chairman, Budget and Appropriations.
He is married to Nelda Octavo with whom he has three children- Trina Bianca, Enrique and Karina Paola.
