Cong. Catamco braces effort to strengthen private – public relationship

KIDAPAWAN CITY – Cotabato 2nd District Congresswoman Nancy Catamco pledges support to strengthen private – public relationship and all other sectors in bringing genuine reform and development. In making her a part of the most important milestone of the MAK – Multi Purpose Cooperative’s Savings and Credit with Education Program Grand Assembly, she extends her gratitude to the management and staff and to all members for their belief in her dedication and commitment to be one with them in encouraging wider participation in nation – building through cooperativism.

Accordingly, Catamco believes on the declared purpose of the law governing cooperatives as stated in the Cooperative Code of the Philippines which is to foster the creation and growth of cooperatives as a practical vehicle for promoting self-reliance and harnessing people power towards the attainment of economic development and social justice.

Ang inyong pagtitipon ay sumasalamin sa tunay na kahulugan ng pagbabago. Ito ay isang napakabigat na hamon para sa ating lahat,  subalit, kapag tayo’y magkakaisa bilang mga kooperatiba ay hindi malayong ating makamtan ang matagal na nating minimithing pagbabago at matulungang maiangat ang antas ng pamumuhay ng bawat pamilya dito sa ating lalawigan”, she said.

“Your presence speaks of partnership and unity and gives importance to the principles of cooperativism. These, I believe, are the essentials in realizing our vision in building a better North Cotabato”, she added.

Catamco’s representation, will always be one and in cooperation with the cooperatives effort to strengthen their common bond of interest in achieving social and economic reforms. She assures everyone of her all-out support, in her capacity as a legislator, to look into, on how she can help lessen the risks and uphold the benefits of their empowered members.
