JULY 31, 2010 - Barangay Luvimin of Kidapawan city was the first barangay visited by Cong. Nancy Catamco to launch the kapihan sa barangay. The kapihan was designed purposely to establish direct link with the people in different areas in the district and the congresswoman.

In the last three years, people in the district suffer a lot in looking for a proper avenue where they can air their grievances. Now with the kapihan, they can meet the good congresswoman in their locality which they can discuss things concerning to the plans and program they needed to uplift their way of living.

During the visit in Luvimin, Barangay Captain Juvencio Pana, Sr. with his barangay council, purok and sectoral leaders raised the issue of road concreting and installation of reservoir to serve potable water to every household in their area. Cong. Catamco signifies support to them and promises to coordinate with Gov. Mendoza for the road concreting. She will also ask the Metro Kidapawan Water District to look into the possibility of construction of water reservoir.

The constituents of district two need no more to exert extra effort to meet Cong. Catamco because in the next few days she will be in your doorstep for the Kapihan sa Barangay. (080110/BCA)
