Family bonding time for this year’s Christmas celebration for provincial employees

xmas-partyIn last year’s Christmas celebration, the provincial employees and their respective spouses were the stars of the cocktail party. This year, it’s bonding time for the whole family as employees will be coming not only with their respective spouses but with the whole family when they attend their office parties.

Kids can indulge in ice cream, popcorn, cotton candies, cakes and many more as these food stuffs will be available in the party area when the celebration starts at 3pm.

As the almost two thousand employees were divided into 5 batches, each batch will have 3 major winners who will go home with 1 unit motorcycle, 1 unit LED television set and 1 unit digital camera.  Each batch will also have 10 winners of a consolation prize of 1 sack of rice each.

Iba’t ibang Mukha ng Paskong Pinoy

Aside from coming to party with their families in tow, another reason which makes this year’s celebration exciting is that employees will be wearing various Paskong Pinoy attires.

The 1st batch composed of the provincial offices of the Accountant, Assessor, Budget Officer, Treasurer and the 1st batch of the Civil Security Unit and district hospitals of Antipas, Pres. Roxas, Midsayap, Mlang, Arakan and Tulunan will be attending the party on December 2 wearing attire with floral designs.  The party’s theme is “Summer Pasko ng Pamilya ay Kay Saya”.

The 2nd batch who will come from the offices of the Governor, Social Welfare and Development, Legal, Commission on Audit, Commission on Elections, Department of Education, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, Jail, Civil Security (Batch 2) and Congressional offices will be attending the party slated on December 9 in their sleep wear.

Batch 3 meanwhile or the employees from the offices of the Health, Engineering and General Services will be wearing any of these: Camisa Chino, baro’t saya, bakya & slippers as their motif is “Rural Pinoy”.  This “Paskong Pamilyang Pinoy” is scheduled on December 16.

Batches 4 and 5 respectively which has the theme “”Kapamilya, Tara sa Pasko” and “Bagong Taon, Bagong Pag-asa, Bagong Buhay” will be partying on December 23 and 29 with Christmas and New Year attires.

Batch 4 who will be wearing attires inspired by the 3 Wise Men, Santa Claus, angel or reindeer are from the provincial offices of the Veterinarian, Cooperative Development, Agriculturist, 1st batch of the provincial hospital and Aleosan district hospital and batch 2 of the employees of the district hospitals of Antipas, Pres. Roxas, Midsayap, Mlang and Arakan.

Batch 5 who will be coming in their polka dot attires are from the Office of the Vice Governor, Sangguniang Panlalawigan and batch 2 of the provincial hospital employees and district hospital of Tulunan., Aleosan and Mlang.

This Paskong Pampamilya which is an initiative of Cotabato Governor Emmylou “”Lala” Taliño-Mendoza aims not only to give employees and workers of the provincial government  time to spend Christmas with their families but also relive Filipino traditions by celebrating the Yuletide Season the Pinoy style.  //ozg/idcd-pgo//
