Nalin, Midsayap gets 2-classroom school building

Provincial Governor Emmylou “Lala” J. Taliño-Mendoza officially turned-over 2- classroom school building to the Eliseo Elementary School in  Barangay Nalin, Midsayap last January 20, 2011.

The said project costing P352,026.71 is one of the infrastructure projects of Governor Taliño-Mendoza when she was a congresswoman of the 1st district in Cotabato province.

Midsayap Vice Mayor Vivencio Deomampo Jr. who represented Mayor Manuel Rabara thanked the governor, the Department of Public Works and Highways and the Department of Education for the said project saying that the school building will greatly help the children in the locality.

In her message, Governor Taliño-Mendoza emphasized that education is vital to the total development of the children. But aside from providing the physical structure and quality education, “I am reminding the teachers of the critical role they play in molding the character and personality of the pupils so that they grow to become better citizens and future leaders,” the governor said.

In closing, the governor challenged the barangay officials of Nalin to give full support to efforts concerning the education of the children.//pgo-idcd-jmco//
